Abstract

Organizations are faced today with an increasing amount of information. This information overload leads more and more to wrong decisions and has therefore economic consequences. Especially decision-makers and knowledge intensive workers are affected. This work introduces information demand pattern for teams in order to improve the information flow in the knowledge intensive field of project management. The contributions of this work are (1) the methodological description how to develop information demand pattern for teams, (2) the presentation of an information demand pattern for a steering committee in the context of project management and (3) general advises on information demand pattern and information demand analysis.
